APRIL 2022 UPDATE
Dear Friends,
The scenes we are all watching unfold in Ukraine are desperate and like everyone else, your team at Just for Humanity is grappling to understand how in the 21st century there can be so little human empathy for others. There are already 4.3 million children displaced as a result of this war.
Our mission to educate and empower underserved children has never been more important. Education is a powerful antidote to the ills of this world. As it will fall to future generations to ensure that events like this don’t happen again, Just for Humanity is redoubling its efforts this year to spread compassion, tolerance and understanding.
For Just for Humanity, ‘redoubling’ efforts means adding 20 more children (who don’t go to school today) to our existing education sponsorship program. This means we will be educating more than 60 underserved children this year from 1st grade onwards and until they graduate from 12th grade.
We are also thrilled to tell you that we have three new corporate supporters, all of whom believe in our mission as passionately as we do.
We are delighted to welcome each of these fantastic companies to the Just for Humanity ‘family’.
As our name ‘Just for Humanity’ implies, our goal is to make a difference one child at a time, just for humanity. Your support is critical to success so, during this difficult time for the world, we hope you will continue to stand with us as we extend our sponsorship program to 20 more children this year. It costs between $200 and $1000, depending on location and age, to educate each child for a year. With your help we are confident that we can meet this target.
We are also excited to let you know that we can now accept cryptocurrency donations via our usual website ‘donate now’ link. Thank you.
