Tamanna Kabir
Tamanna is an applied economist. She did her Ph.D. in Economics from Florida International University in Miami, FL. In her research she evaluated the impact of education on a range of outcomes that affects women’s welfare. Originally from Bangladesh, Tamanna completed her bachelor’s and master’s in economics from University of Dhaka in Dhaka, Bangladesh.
Coming from a family of educators, Tamanna always understood the importance of education. She believes that everyone has a right to education and deserves a chance at it. Hence, she voluntarily educated underprivileged children in Dhaka. In the future, she wants to use her knowledge and expertise to help underprivileged children, especially girls to complete their education and improve their quality of life.
